Pilot project is a

• Blueprint on what needs to be done from the farmgate to the international market in this product.
• Need to implement the blueprint.
• Need to draw out lessons from planning and implementation stage.
• Lessons to be disseminated and replicated with support from institutions outside project.

Pilot Projects- Approval Process

• All pilot project proposals to be submitted to UNCTAD by Tier I.
• Project proposals to be approved by Steering Committee.
